DIY Sea Salt Texturizing Hair Spray for Curly Hair
1 cup warm water
1 Tablespoon sea salt
1 – 2 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 – 2 teaspoons hair gel (whatever you currently use)
4 – 5 drops essential oil (your favorite scent)
Mix ingredients together in a glass measuring cup. Pour into a clean empty spray bottle.
To use: Gently shake the spray bottle. Hold it about 6″ from your head and spray on dry or wet hair from roots to ends. Or, to focus on a specific area of your hair, spray some in the palm of your hand and use said hand and fingers to spot treat and scrunch your curls. For extra curl volume, flip hair upside down, spray, and use your fingers to lift your roots only. Don’t ever rake those fingers all the way through to the ends of your hair…that creates frizz, which we don’t want!
